Nathan hit a couple milestones today. Taking advantage of the sunny weather, all 3
kids played in the backyard. It was Nathan's first time crawling in the grass...and he
loved it! Later in the evening, he was clinging to Adrienne's leg but he wanted to get
to Christian because he was eating a snack (and Nathan always wants what
everyone else is eating). So he let go of Adrienne's leg and managed to take one little
step towards Christian before dropping to his hands and knees!
In what has become an annual J5 tradition, we attended the Wiggles concert tonight
in Tacoma. Christian was filled with anticipation until the moment the 4 Wiggles
appeared on stage. They held the attention of every child in the building with an
hour & a half of song and dance. Christian sang and danced along sometimes, but
most of the time he just watched in awe - he couldn't believe the Wiggles were
really there right before his eyes!
Our hearts swelled with pride today as Nathan took his first steps on his own!! He
was standing and wanted to get over to where Adrienne was (just a short distance),
but instead of dropping to all fours to crawl, he took 2 steps without support and
made it to Mommy! We are very excited about this new "step" in his development.
