06/04/2004 Da-da-da-da-da Dora! This evening Scott whisked Christian away to a surprise in Seattle. They went to see the live Dora the Explorer show at the Paramount Theatre. When the show started, Chrsitian watched the activity on stage with awe. The show was basically an adaptation of one of the TV episodes, but with extra singing and side-stories. Christian had a terrific time, and Scott enjoyed seeing him so happy.

06/12/2004 Ballet Beauty Today was the day of the big ballet recital. Scott took Alexis to the dress rehearsal in the morning, then the whole family attended the recital at the Pantages Theatre. Our seats were not the greatest, and Christian frequently interrupted our viewing of the show with his need to visit the restroom, but we were enchanted at seeing our little princess perform so well!

06/20/2004 Slippery Fun The kids got a Slip 'n' Slide which we set up in the backyard today. Adrienne, Scott, the kids, and Adrienne's cousing Anthony who's visiting, all got soaked and had a great time!

06/26/2004 Look at Me! I'm 3!! Christian turned 3 years old today, and we had a party at Scott's parents' Great Falls house in his honor. His paternal great-grandparents were there, along with Scott's sister and brother-in-law, aunt, uncle, cousin, and new second cousing Cordy (she's 9 months old). All Christian wanted to do was eat cake, which we let him do after he played a couple games. Click here for pictures.

06/29/2004 Electricity & Water This afternoon the Jordan Five went to Great Falls' "Electric City Waterpark," accompanied by Scott's mom and sister. We spent time in the kiddie pool and the regular pool. Alexis even worked up the courage to go down the 5-story waterslides. Christian went down them to...on his auntie's lap. :) After night fell, a big, noisy thunderstorm took over the sky, producing rumbling thunder and spectacular lightning flashes. We watched in awe as God orchestrated a terrific light show.
