We visited the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium today and toured their brand new
area - the Asian Sanctuary. There we saw elephants, a tiger, a gibbon, and a few
other exotic animals. The kids had a great time at the zoo as always.
Christian had his annual pediatric check-up. He weighed in at 30 pounds and he's
36 inches tall.
We had a mini-party in celebration of Christian's 3rd birthday over at Adrienne's
parents' house. We had pizza and a cake, then he opened his presents. Adrienne &
I gave him a baseball glove with ball. He was pretty excited about that! Click here

On a hotter note - we had near-record temperatures today of 97 degrees!
To escape the heat, Juan and Scott took all 3 kids to a local park with a lake.
Alexis & Christian readily dove in, but Nathan was hesitant. He played on the
play equipment with his Papa while the older 2 splashed around.
